Email- Template for basic refund
Email template used for a basic refund to a Pro's customer.
Email - Basic Refund Confirmation
This email is sent after the refund has been processed.
Note – it is evident when somebody deserves a refund. If they bought the same package twice then they deserve a refund. Unless they are really adament about getting a refund we first try to offer them a coupon code for a greater value than the refund would be. So say someone bought the same $15 package twice. I would offer them a $20 coupon for a future purchase or I can refund the $15, at which time in the email I would ask for some info (like last 4 on cc). Even though we no longer need that info I think it motivates them to accept the coupon. General rule of thumb is that we don’t like to give the money back. BUT we don’t want to put a bad taste in anybody’s mouth so we are always willing to refund the money. We just want to make the coupon a better option for them.
